I needed more space so I formatted my 1tb Seagate external hard drive using the same parameters above. I used Nintendont so I can use the Wii Motion plus/Classic Controller setup. I have a 32gb USB flash drive formatted properly to FAT32 (32kb cluster size) and it runs both Wii and Gamecube games fine from CFG USB loader. I have everything set up on my wii perfectly except for one problem that I have run in to.
